IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
For those of you considering to buy CIGS panels or invest in a company that make them you may want to study these pictures. Note where the material is gone on the sides of the panels and note the hole where the material is missing. These are panels made by Siemens. They are 8 years old. The output is 1/10 of what it use to be. The output is determined by the lowest output panel.
This I believe is happening to other thin film materials.

The following is my history in photovoltaics.
I was first introduced to photovoltaics in 1957 at the United Nations Solar Energy Center in Cairo Egypt.
In 1980 I invented the use of photovoltaic panels on outdoor advertising billboards where you could not get a utility line.
I sold that operation in 1984. The problem was that every system I built was stolen. In one case on I-5 in California the thieves stole the whole billboard.
I then went to China and signed up the Government in Beijing to put in solar powered billboards there. That operation was sold in 1985.
After this I built up the largest solar cell trading operation at that time with 270 clients world wide.
I received over 5000 emails per week for my solar cells. Because I had no secure supply of solar cells I sold this operation to my largest client in 2000. Below is a picture of some of the solar cells I bought and sold. We bought these by the truck load. We sold them in batches from Singapore to Ireland and all over Africa.
I even filed or was issued 33 patents world wide in the area of photovoltaics. I was invited into some of the most prestigious Labs in the world to do my work.
I sold all but one of my patents to a Chinese Company in 2009. After that I sold all of my Nano Powder making equipment to a another Chinese Company in 2010. The fact is that China has taken over the manufacturing of Photovoltaics.
The only patent that I kept was my Hydrogen Absorption Rod Patent. This patent was issued to me on June 1, 2010 without comment which is highly unusual. A Patent Cooperation Treaty Application was made and that organization stated in their report that this was a highly useful invention. This device takes the hydrogen out of seawater using a photovoltaic cell located under a collimating lens. There is a Zeolite cylinder that contains platinum/palladium Nano particles that take in hydrogen and store it until the unit is removed. This patent is available on Amazon's Kindle.
Below are some of the panels on my home. These survived two direct hits from 2004 Florida Hurricanes Francis and Jean. Because they were mounted flush they never budged.
The ones below were being used in a electrolyses unit that I built.
What I am working on now.
I am building a Cold Fusion Battery that operates on Photovoltaics. Cold Fusion coupled with photovoltaics spells an end to oil's strangle hold on the world's population.
