Our company holds a number of patents in the area of photovoltaics and some of its applications. We do basic research in the area of photovoltaics and its applications. We have over 26 patents world wide that have either been awarded or applied for in the area of photovoltaics.

In the past we pioneered the use of photovoltaic panels on outdoor advertising billboards where you could not get a power line in economically. This was 1981. In addition we signed up the Chinese Government in 1984 to allow us to build these for Philip Morris in the Beijing area. All of this was sold in 1985.
In 1998 we set up through this site a highly successful Internet Solar Cell trading operation. We bought from manufactures world wide their broken output of solar cells. We bought these by the lbs and sold them by the watt. We had these stacked up to the ceiling. We then matched them and sold them to 270 clients world wide. Because we had no secure supply of solar cells we sold that operation to our largest client in 2000.
All this time we were working on a nano particle solar cell powder in a colloid that could be painted onto to a moving substrate. Part of that work was done at the University of Miami's Chemistry Lab and part involved IBM's Thomas Watson Research Lab. This work also resulted in our being invited into Cornell Universities Knight Nano Fabrication Lab.
The fruit of this work can be found in two patents being filed in 2002 and 2003 entitled Nano Photovoltaic Solar Cells. These patents all utilized powders of our making. All of our latest powder making and refining equipment has been sold to Photovoltaic Solar Cells Inc., a publicly held company that trades in the US under the stock symbol PVSO and in Germany under the stock symbol 3PH.
